Pashmina Fringes is one of many initiations of thamel.com, business development and marketing company based out of Kathmandu, Nepal focused in launching socially conscious “sustainable” ventures. It has been our ongoing efforts not only to find new market opportunities for business partners that are within our network, but also to support their way of life in maintaining their individual identity.
With great deals of optimism, we hope to use this platform to create new businesses for Nepal’s finest Pashmina Manufacturers who have trusted us to market their products. pashmina.thamel.com is a collaborative effort of various manufacturers from Nepal who had to go through a very selective process to qualify to sell their products through our network.
Unlike anything we have done before, for every sale we make through this site, we will donate a percentage of our earnings to various locally based women organizations. The funds donated will be used for skills development. Continuous updates will be routinely available. We want to use this business model to support and promote "self sustainability" for under-privileged women of Nepal.
